Thursday 6th July 2001 :
After several months the site is being updated again. The Thursday Pub Crawl feature has just been added. Around Manchester City Centre there are a great number of public houses and bars. A list of them is being compiled which has 115 on it at the moment. The ScottyWeb team are visiting a new one each week as part of their regular Thursday pub crawl.
What about the Pink Pylon? There are only so many pictures that people want to see of the Pink Pylon The current feeling is that it should be removed from the site. Regular site visitors are going to be asked their opinon before this happens. Send an email to pinkpylon@ScottyWeb.net and tell us what you think.

Sunday 25th February 2001 :
Some new pictures have been added to the Pink Pylon page. This is the most popular page on this site at the moment! But, despite this, we will not be trying to compete against the pylonofthemonth web site. There are plenty of other pictures to look at in The Gallery.

Sunday 5th February 2001 :
The final pictures have been added to the Stag Party page. The background on this page has changed! A page for your comments has also been added after people wanted to know what other people are saying about the site. In some cases the language has been toned down but we try to keep within the spirit of the original comment.

Thursday 1st February 2001 :
There have been quite a few changes in the last few days. Following a series of discussions (drinks at dinner) with the developer of the Deep-Space pages we now have a new developer on the ScottyWeb team. The majority of his pages are going to be incorparted into the main site pages and Deep-Space will be no more. It must be pointed out that not all of the Deep-Space pages are going to be available. Numerous complaints have been received about the content of various parts of the Deep-Space pages. Of particular concern has been the extensive section on bondage, S&M, fetishism and 'toys' . These pages are to be REMOVED as their content is not acceptable on this site. Another E-business closes! Not quite. The site is moving. All current business customers are being notified of the changes and any outstanding or new orders will still be delivered. It will be business as usual but not on ScottyWeb.
How do you follow that? Firstly, lets just say that The Bottom Line is not being removed. We have sponsorship for that! And the Pylon pages are staying! A new Stag Party page is being added highlighting some moments from a 'pre wedding' gathering held in January.

Wenesday 24th January 2001 :
The index page is about to have an update. In The Gallery collections have been added for Bonsai and Follies. It is now also possible to buy from Amazon a copy of the video for the film 'Among Giants' which features the 'Pink Pylon'

Thursday 4th January 2001 :
Happy New Year to any visitors. Many emails have been received commenting on the site. There have been lots of both positive and negative suggestions. A number are quite unprintable, but they could still be emailed! From these suggestions a number of updates and new articles are currently in progress.
Following an email from The National Grid Company plc, the reason for the Pink Pylon being pink has now been established. See the updated page Pink Pylon.

Thursday 24 November 2000 :
The number of hits to the site is increasing. Various page have been tidied up. In the links section there are links to three sites that currently feature a picture of mine. In Scotty's Scribbles 'In a Town' has been added. A feature on Greenbooth reservoir located close to the Pink Pylon is currently being worked on. There is a submerged bridge in the reservoir which is only revealed when the water level is extreemly low. A map from 1938 shows how it used to look before the valley was flooded.

Thursday 19th October 2000 :
There is a pylon that I pass on the way to work which is painted pink. Its not an ordinary colour for a pylon so I've set up a special Pink Pylon page in theThe Gallery

Sunday 1st October 2000 :
Have updated The Gallery pages to include a RECENT collection of pictures that I have taken. They are smaller and more compresses than previous ones to make loading the page faster. The picture of a PINK PYLON is also in the recent section. Note that this is a genuine picture. The colours have not been altered to make it look pink. Thanks to a suggestion by Graham Wood I have corrected the colours of a Grand Canyon picture. The original picture used for the scan was over exposed and looked washed out.

Sunday 24th September 2000 :
Have updated The Gallery pages. They look different and are easier to navigate. Pictures from the Grand Canyon and of sunsets have been added.

Monday 6th September 2021 :
Currently having problems with reality. I seem to have slipped forwards in time. I was reading a copy of PC Zone for October 2000 and the next thing I new it was a Monday in 2021. Its only the beginning of September 2000 as far as I'm concerned. The three fingered salute (CTRL ALT Delete) hasn't worked so I'm going to try an early night in bed. In any case, i've just tidied up my main deep-space page and this wots nu page. Perhaps I will have to re do it all tomorrow if I go back to 2000.
Had a Email from Scottyweb saying that Norman will not be getting his site going as soon as planned. The latest pictures for the site got deleted by mistake and the old copy is too out of date to use.   

Thursday 31st August 2000 :
The Deep-Space site is now combined with some others at www.Scottyweb.net. I wanted something to photograph to try out my new camera and ended up with pictures of pylons. They were quite topical at the time and can be seen at Pylons. Things get worse. I am thinking of moving my pages, someone called Norman Greene has started to set up a website on ScottyWeb about paperclips (oh wow!)

Wednesday 20th July 2000 :
Have been setting up the Rochdale Sub Aqua Club part of the site and tidying bit and pieces up. After looking at various other sites there looks like there is a lot I can do to improve my site. Still, I'll see how it goes. The bondage, S&M, fetishism and 'toys' section has been visited several times but it's still not working properly. I was going to add some photo's of Durham cathedral to The Gallery but they haven't come out very well. The new camera should sort this out!

Added some animated gifs to a few pages. I'm not saying where they are. 

Thursday 22nd June 2000 :
Tidied up some of the pages. Have more pictures ready to add to the galley. The first page now says click to enter. 

Thursday 8th June 2000 :
The loose ends have been left for now. Added a couple of pages of the rsac.htm section. This includes the Mouthpiece 4i. These pages will mirror the clubs own Mouthpiece 4 magazine.
Added a hit counter from thecounter.com site.

Saturday 28th May 2000 :
Started to tidy up the loose ends. Added a link so that I can be emailed. The main site is now linked into from three other sites. More pictures will be added later.

Tuesday 15th May 2000 :
Updated The Gallery  Added more pictures including Yosemite and Zion National parks.

Monday 14th May 2000 :
Updated some of the The Gallery pictures and added some of Sanfrancisco.

Wednesday 20th April 2000 :
The bottom line is now being sponsored by Bunty Promotions together with The Crown and Cushion. The Crown and Cushion is a popular venue for both The Unknown Pleasures and 14 Yards Offside. These are just two of the bands being managed by Bunty Promotions.
