A few photo's of electricity pylons! Why, you may ask? I've just got a new camera and wanted to try it out and get used to using it. The old manual one was getting a bit long in the tooth and was going to cost nearly as much to fix as a new one. Why pylons? Erm, er... I had seen an article about the pylon of the month web site and thought why not?

A special Pink Pylon page has been set up to show that not all pylons are grey.

The middle pictures at the bottom are from when a transformer at the sub-station near our old house exploded back in 1983. The blue picture is when some of cables melted and collapsed.
